June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month. Some may think shelter cars wouldn't make good family pets because they are in shelters. For whatever reason beyond these cats and kittens' control., they end up in shelters with no concept of any kind of history behind them.

What was the pet and owners' situation? Did these pets live inside or outside? How is it they end up from a home into a shelter. Many questions with no answers.

But I do know this: Many beautiful, loving and friendly cats and kittens who would truly make wonderful companions are at the Baxter County Shelter, if you're thinking about bringing a cat or kitten into your family. Please, consider the Baxter County Shelter.

Our local county shelter truly needs our community's support. Even if it's neutering or spaying, you've done your part to help. Adopt a shelter cat or kitten and you may find a new best friend.
