How Budgies Sleep
Things are not safe for parrots?

I love knitting and I have a couple of parakeets that I would do things. There are currently a platform that point in his cage to sleep in a batch. I want to make toys, but I do not know if it is safe. Things are not safe for parrots? Should I remove the platform and buy a bird huts instead? The points are tight, of course, there is no way they could get their feet caught in it.

I like the hook too. If you use dyed or undyed natural cotton - or sisal rope with hook, should be acceptable. Just watch to make sure that when parakeets chew so every time you (they) to delete the item if it wears enough entangled in ropes. You can also use strips of natural leather. Drs Foster & Smith sell spare parts for toys for their parrots, and you can order some of the skins and strings of them.
